‘Rape Insurance’ for Women in Michigan, Thanks to GOP Legislature

The Michigan Republican legislature is forcing women to buy separate insurance for abortion, believing that it shouldn’t be covered under regular medical insurance. And once you become pregnant, even that won’t be available for purchase under any circumstances. For that reason, it’s being referred to as “rape insurance.”

I don’t understand how all these legislators got so interested in what a woman does with her naughty bits, and how they’re so concerned about what is none of their goddamn business.
